Optimizing my wordpress website’s performance

I’ve been working on this website for a good long while, tinkering with it here and there, making improvements where I was able or had time to implement. Last night, I’d realized that I’d linked up the scripts and the CSS stylesheets incorrectly, creating a lot more HTTP requests than I’d have preferred, so I went about finding a solution that best fit the the wordpress CMS.
